Reichhold REACH
What is REACH?

REACH is the European chemical regulation that came into force on 1 June 2007. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of CHemicals. This regulation applies in all Member States of the European Union (EU). REACH has also been adopted by the European Economic Area (EEA) which is comprised of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. REACH aims to improve protection of human health and the environment by placing responsibility on industry to ensure that chemical substances are managed and used safely. REACH is intended to enhance worker safety by making more information available about chemical hazards and risk management measures. REACH also requires consideration of the health and environmental impact of chemicals throughout their life cycle.
